How do I find public sector tenders in the UK?
+
Most UK public contracts are published on free government portals: Find a Tender for higher-value notices across the UK, Contracts Finder for England, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, and eTendersNI. Many buyers also run frameworks through Crown Commercial Service and NHS bodies. You can search each portal by keyword, CPV code and region, or use a tool like TendersAutopilot to scan all of them daily and rank the results by fit.
What is a CPV code?
+
Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) codes are an eight-digit classification buyers attach to a notice to describe what they are buying, such as 72000000 for IT services or 45000000 for construction work. Setting the right CPV codes in your profile is the most reliable way to get relevant alerts.
What is the difference between Find a Tender and Contracts Finder?
+
Find a Tender is the UK-wide notice service for higher-value procurements and is the main service under the Procurement Act 2023. Contracts Finder lists lower-value opportunities from English public bodies. Many notices appear on both, which is why TendersAutopilot de-duplicates across portals.
Can TendersAutopilot submit bids for me?
+
No. It finds, scores and drafts. A person on your team always reviews, finalises and submits the bid through the buyer’s own portal.
Which tender sources do you cover?
+
All major UK sources: Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, eTendersNI, plus Crown Commercial Service and NHS frameworks. We scan them daily and remove duplicates.
How does matching work?
+
You set up a company profile: services, CPV codes, regions, contract size, and certifications. Every new tender is scored against that profile. You only see tenders above your fit threshold.
How does AI drafting work?
+
Upload your past bids, case studies, and policies once. For each tender, the AI reads the documents, maps the requirements, and writes a first draft in your voice with your evidence. You review and edit; you always submit.
Is my bid data secure?
+
Yes. Your bid library is encrypted at rest and in transit, stored in the UK/EU, and never used to train models or shared with other customers.
How many team members can I add?
+
Starter includes 3 team members. Growth includes unlimited team members with roles for writers, reviewers, and approvers.
